So, I have been working with my church ever since I was in High School; I worked and I am working as a youth leader, an assisstant teacher and a paper pusher in the office. As a youth leader I offered advice on spiritual matters to the younger members of our youth group and helped to decide the games we would play on fridays. As an assisstant teacher for children's church I helped to look after the children, make sure they behave, and help out with skits during children's church. As a paper pusher I helped my mom around the office, performing tasks such as folding the bulletin or cutting paper for the sunday service was mainly my job. Although, I did manual jobs as well, helping out by checking the mail or moving donations to the Tecate box where all the donations are gathered.

So I actually started volunteering today! I volunteered at my church: Bonita Valley Baptist Church. My job as a youth leader entails many things. It involves: offering spritual advice and guidance to the younger members, helping setup the games, (very soon) playing in the worship team. However, that day I did a bunch of office work for the secretary and assistant pastor.
I contributed to the overall by helping to keep the organization together. The secretary always has so much to do and the assistant pastor is usually bogged down with admin work so I believe I was a big help to them that day.
